This is another one of Lowry's pieces of work that my father recreated. This one is Houses in Broughton 1937 which is currently located at The Lowry Centre. The original is pencil on paper whereas my father's is oil on board. I believe he may have painted this picture from the cover of the Brian and Michael record Matchstalk Men and Matchstalk Cats and Dogs.
