More information:  

A view of Hartshead Pike, a famous landmark around the Oldham / Ashton area. This view is from outside the old pub, The Colliers Arms. I know my father painted many picture of Hartshead Pike and The Colliers Arms but I am not sure of their whereabouts. This is a place I often visited with my father and one I still visit with my children today.
